At New Creation, you'll be welcomed into a friendly, casual environment by people who are excited to see you. Below you will find answers to some of the basics questions you may have. We hope to see you soon!
What will the worship service be like?
Our Sunday mornings may be described as both relaxed and focused. We are not that concerned with the external but the internal. We aren't looking for showy lights, but open hearts.
Our music is led by a worship team who will guide us through both new songs and old hymns that exalt Christ. If you are worried about your singing abilities, do not worry. God calls us to all make a joyful noise. Our focus is on Him and not each other.
Our teaching is straight from God's scripture, the Bible. If you do not have a Bible, we have one we will give you as a gift.
Our prayer time is when we have the opportunity to take one another's requests to God. We see prayer as the exquisite privilege that God has given Christians to confidently bring our requests before His throne. We will pray throughout service, and you will have opportunities to have others pray for you if you wish.
We invite you to join us this Sunday at 10:30am. When you arrive you will find a warm welcome along with some coffee and breakfast snacks. We hope to see you soon.
What if I am not used to "going to church?"
Then you will fit right in. We are a place for those who have been curious about Christianity, but never felt comfortable in a church. Most of us did not come from Christian backgrounds. At one point, we were just like you. A quiet guest who was sitting in the back wanting to see what "Christianity" was all about.
What should I wear?
Clothes. Simply be you. Some of us have polos, others have tattoos. There is no set dress code. Most of us dress on the more casual side.
What do you do on Sunday nights?
With the partnership of several other churches, we serve a free meal to the local community at 5:30pm. Come join us for a bite and invite others. You will find a warm atmosphere full of laughter, music, and a guest speaker sharing the Gospel message.
What do you do on Wednesday nights?
We have a community meal on Wednesday nights at 5:00pm and a discipleship class at 6:30pm. Consider yourself invited to both.
What kind of people would I find at New Creation?
You will find a community of Christ transformed people living out the Gospel. We are a diverse group of men and women of various ages from many backgrounds and places that Christ has brought together.
