Dear Angel Food Friends,

It is with very sad hearts that we must inform you that New Creation United Methodist Church  held its last worship service on June 27 and will now close our doors.  As a result, we will no longer be here as New Creation UMC to provide you with Angel Food.

With God’s Blessing, we hope to reopen our Angel Food program again in this same building under the auspices of Salem United Methodist Church, a church that has purchased our building and land. Salem UMC will be very busy in the coming two months making changes to this building and moving. They hope to open their doors in September but have much to do in order to meet their projected opening. Meanwhile, we will take a recess and then after the membership of Salem has settled in, we will make a proposal to them requesting that they keep Angel Food Ministry on the Southwest side of Cedar Rapids by undertaking this wonderful and much need ministry. We will keep you updated and if Salem decides in favor, will send out a mailing providing you with all the necessary information .

Though you will not find us here for your Angel Food needs, and we’re praying this is only temporary, there are other churches here in Cedar Rapids from which you can order and pick up your Angel Food. You may go to https://www.angelfoodministries.com/to see which site would be the closest to you. We suggest you call them for further information.

Meanwhile, below is the July Menu. You may pick the church of your choice and order through it. Information on their office hours, their phone numbers etc. are on the Angel Food website link as shown above.
